Organizer, Speaker Curator
Laura is a management consultant specializing in process improvement in a wide range of organizations. She has been a TEDster since 2011, has been to several TED events, and has served on the organizing team for a number of Boston-area TEDx events. She sees TEDxJP as an amazing opportunity to showcase the amazing talent, diversity, and energy of one of Boston’s most fascinating neighborhoods!
Charlotte Fixler
Organizer, License Holder
Charlotte spends her days as Director of Communications for Curriculum Associates, a K-12 publisher. A former teacher, she spent years in the toy industry and is passionate about making learning fun and meaningful. She has attended TED events all over the country and is thrilled to bring TEDx to her neighborhood, showcasing thinkers who put the “Joy & Purpose” in “JP!”

Felicia Kamriani
Organizer, Producer
Felicia coordinates educational outreach and business development for MIT App Inventor at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. Felicia considers herself an avid TEDster as TEDxJP will mark her 12th time being a TEDx organizer and TED 2016 will be her 10th time attending a TED conference. Felicia is passionate about all forms of informal learning, so to her, JP stands for "Just Play!"

With a background in economics and financial services, Colleen embarked on a social entrepreneurial venture, founding Emily's Social Kitchen LTD. in her native Jamaica. While Jamaica Plain is not the tropical Jamaican island she grew up on, the love and vibrancy of its surroundings brings her closer to home. She is passionate about working with organizations to realize and initiate their economic and social goals.
Will Malan
Volunteer Coordinator
Will connects strongly to the theme of “Joy and Purpose,” seeking the lighter side of life in all things… from 24 hour bird watching competitions to all-night laser tag to trampoline dodgeball! He finds joy in facilitating volunteer experience - a job he does full-time at the Trustees of Reservations and also for TEDxJP!
Annie Malan

A new Jamaica Plain resident, Annie has fallen in love with the community. When she's not walking around Jamaica Pond sipping coffee from City Feed, she is a consultant for Stax Inc, a strategy consulting firm. For her, JP represents a wonderfully unique community with the benefits and resources of being part of a major city yet the warmth and friendliness of a local neighborhood.
Mary Anne Richman
Executive Producer
A Creator, Experiential Architect, Designer & Serial Entrepreneur, Mary Anne is founder and CEO of MARS Productions. In creating events for audiences of 100-100,000, she seeks to transform diverse individuals into dynamic human networks. She also channels her passion for beauty into one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, featured in galleries around the US. Having attended several TED conferences, she is thrilled to lend her talents to TEDxJP!
